The ultimate antioxidant smoothie – On To GO

Challenge yourself to start your day with a smoothie for at least few days and see if there is a difference in your energy levels, concentration, metabolism and mood. I promise you you would feel a dramatic difference!

What you need: 

Any greens of your choice (like arugula, kale or baby spinach). Here I actually used nettle leaves but you can substitute with whatever you have, greens are all great!

Blend the greens (as much of them as you would like) first with some water (one full glass) and then add your fruit. I used one small pear, cup of frozen berries, 1, 1/5 bananas (you can tweak the quantity based on your activity, needs, taste etc.)

Optional ads are a tea spoon of barley grass powder,  acai powder, chia seeds. You can find them in big stores or on Amazon. Read more about their properties down below.

And for the chia seeds – they are small wonders loaded with fiber and protein, assist digestion and bring you your daily minimum of omega-3 ( you need just a tiny spoon!)
